This is a great article! I didn’t know this phenomenon had a name – I had heard of toilet day before, and also dog day on 1st November (1/11= ワンワンワン) as the Japanese onomatopoeia for dogs barking is ‘wan’.

I typed in 171997 (1/7/1997 That’s my birthday) and got 以内ここの苦難　(inai kokono kunan) Which means “Less then 9 trials” Or “Within 9 Hardships”. (I think I translated it right). Weird huh?
