I’m having major trouble with the actual process of _writing_ hiragana itself. I’m trying, but even the very first syllable, “a”, I can’t make the character look anything like how it’s supposed to. Even after 20, 30 attempts, it doesn’t look right at all… Even though I’m doing the strokes in the correct order, it still doesn’t look right. What can I do to get it down?

Thank you very much for your tips this is helping me sooo much and I’m very happy because I’m actually understanding where your coming from unlike when I tried to use other unreliable sites. I’m a total begginer other then the fact that I can watch japanese dramas, music or animes without subtitles most of the time .（≧∇≦）

And this is why I’m lucky cause I’m romanian… We read the letters alike with the japanese so there was never a problem with pronunciation for me.

I speak Spanish (and English -_-) and it makes learning Japanese easier cause the sounds are all basically the same.
