What Is the く Form?
The く form is one of the possible forms an い-adjective can take. It's sometimes referred to as the "adverbial form" of い-adjectives, because forming adverbs is one of its primary purposes. In addition, it can also be used to link two clauses together to form a compound sentence.
Conjugating い-adjectives into the く form is very simple: remove the final 〜い on the adjective, and replace it with 〜く.
い+ く = 速く
速く + て = 速くて
速く + ない = 速くない
