How To Type Japanese On Ubuntu

Ubuntu is a free, Linux operating system that anybody can download! If you’re tech-savvy enough to use Ubuntu but are having a bit of trouble typing in Japanese, follow this guide! [hr]

[sixcol_two]A new window will pop up with a button to Install/Remove Languages. Click the Install/Remove Languages button.[/sixcol_two] [sixcol_four_last][/sixcol_four_last]

[sixcol_two]A window will pop up saying that “Keyboard Input Methods (IBus Daemon) has not been started. Do you want to start it now?” Select “Yes.”[/sixcol_two] [sixcol_four_last][/sixcol_four_last]

[sixcol_two]Another window called “IBus Preferences” will apper. Click on the “Input Method” tab in this window, and from the drop-down menu, select “Anthy” under Japanese.[/sixcol_two] [sixcol_four_last][/sixcol_four_last]
