I never knew about Morgan Oyuki, but I have read Memoirs of a Geisha. What an interesting lady. And her style was so cool! It’s fascinating that she could have been a reason for the US to avoid attacking Kyoto. I don’t know much about Japanese women in history, so this was a great read. :-)
