Damn, I love eavesdropping. Do it everytime I get the chance to. Probably end up a creeper at the same time as well, because I cant help but smile when I actually understand what is said, or even laugh. Even better when Japanese friends converse in Japanese and I can openly eavesdrop. I should actually go and change the language settings for FB and my phone.

What frustrates me though, is because I also know Chinese (it’s my mother tongue), when I read Japanese and come across kanji I dont know the pronunciation for, I read them in Chinese and then switch back to Japanese for Hiragana/Katakana/Kanji that I actually know.

owww Thank you So much for these infos ^^ i’m sure it will help me and who ever wants to learn japenese i’m absulote beginner in japenese i really want to learn it soooooooooo bad and i hope i will be able to speak it and read it and write it soon :D ^^ and i will sure follow ur advices and syuff x’D thank you again ^^

I tried looking for the built in dictionary, but couldn’t find it. Is it on,y inclded in the Japanese version of the app?

I have changed my facebook to Japanese already 1 year ago and it really helped me a lot.I began to understand other japanese sites, learned so many new words and kanji.
