Some people were saying that it's just not sushi (well, one said it is 'sushi', just not 寿司), but for the most part, they were okay with it because the Japanese mess around with foreign dishes all the time.

Did you guys actually read the kotaku sushi article? Or the 2ch thread, for that matter? “Sushi abominations” seems to be Tofugu’s opinion, not theirs.

I read that SuiseiNoboAz packed a club with passersby who heard them playing. That makes me happy, since I was sick that week and ended up missing everything. SXSW is a zoo, though. It would be nice if bands overseas had more opportunities to tour in the US.
