Japan shows its creative side at Tokyo Designers Week: Japanese design is some of the most highly respected and imitated in the world, so Tokyo Designers Week is a showcase of some of the world’s most talented designers. This year’s Designer Week included a showcase of all of NTT Docomo’s 611(!) cell phones, a building-sized instrument, and kimono skateboards. Manga Artist Flips Out At Crying Baby on Flight, Reactions: We’ve all been there — sitting on a long, cramped, uncomfortable flight while a baby shrieks and cries its eyes out. Apparently, Japanese women have a checklist for telling if their male coworkers prefer to stay in and troll message boards rather than socialize. Do you fit the profile? Does your mom still cook dinner for you? Are you a gambling addict?
