PSA: There’s A 50% Off TextFugu “Back To School” Sale Going On Right Now

Hurry! Before you burn your eyes out on this image!

This is just a quick Public Tofugu Service Announcement letting you know that yes, we care about you students, and that yes, you should be studying Japanese during your math class instead of actual math (just kidding, study your math or you may turn into a liberal arts major, eeaughhh!).

Anyways, TextFugu “Forever” is 50% off until September 25 whether you’re going to back to school or not. Of course, just like all Forever memberships, you get access to all future updates, changes, and special deals for other Japanese-related products (for example, you can get instant access to the WaniKani Closed Beta). TextFugu usually only goes on sale twice a year, so you know, do what you will with that information.

If you have any questions about it, please feel free to email koichi@textfugu.com and I’ll help you out. If that’s all, then it’s probably best you stop looking at this flashing monstrosity of an image. Unicorn beseeches you!

And yes, sorry for the super short not-really-containing-anything post. Perhaps our Japanese resource reviews or Japanese guides section can keep you company until tomorrow?

Fine Print: This text is really really small and hard to read.

    I’m already back to school.

You failed me, Koichi. Now I shall never pass my GCSEs, I won’t get any good A-Levels and university’s gone down the pan.

I kid. Very good deal, though.

  • Phantomeye

Waiting for somebody to read the fine print.

  • http://twitter.com/testyal1 William Sumners

‘Course I read the fine print.

  • Phantomeye

I don’t read fine prints anymore… because i’ve already sold my soul to Satan a few times now :D

  • 古戸ヱリカ

I read over it. It looks fine.

    YOUR BEST WORK SO FAR

  • besterthenyou

Haha! Early Christmas present here I come! Hopefully early! I don’t know, I’m 14 and don’t have a job and I can’t just eat ramen for a month to save, so hopefully my Dad will buy it for me now, and whether I wait or not to use it I don’t know, WOOHOO!

  • HatsuHazama

Cool, but I’ve nerves needed to study maths in school. I’ve never revised for a maths test either. I’ve never had below and A* in work (Do you have A* in America?). And people still think I’m talented in everything, not just maths.
Note: Maths and Some forms of gaming are the only things I’m actually good at.

  • http://twitter.com/_amywheeler Amy Wheeler

Huh. I studied maths but still somehow became a liberal arts major :/ Got any fixes for it?

  • HatsuHazama

    Something’s changed…

  • jeff

Just download the decks free through Anki. No need to pay!!!

  • ralph

hell yea, thats what i did

  • YOUR FATHER

There’s a bit more to textfugu than just Anki decks, though…

  • http://twitter.com/shollum Shollum

I bought it. I don’t know how much of it will help me at my level, but whatever, I’ll get access to the forums and updates and such. I’ll still use it to catch anything I missed (and because it’s entertaining to read), but supporting my favorite Japanese teaching people is also good.

  • http://twitter.com/shollum Shollum

I didn’t think it was hard to read. Of course, I’m a bookworm who’s read many small font printed books (I swear this will be a valuable skill when I start signing contracts).

  • Kami-sama

Is that true, are you my father? I thought my father was Koichi, the glorious Emperor of the Tofugu Empire.

  • Koichi

Free if you just download decks through Anki!!

  • neptern

I took the plunge and splashed $60!!!
Hope to really jumpstart my Japanese learning and be good at it soon^^
All hail to the Great Empire of Koichi!!!
