		<description><![CDATA[All of the English articles about this are completely misrepresenting this. You&#039;re right– nuclear power is the best they&#039;ve got, and they&#039;re going to stick with it until something better comes along (hint: not coal, and not solar– yet, anyway). Since many of the reactors were already shut down or you know, spilling waste, the fact that the entire grid is momentarily dark is hardly surprising. As soon as they&#039;re done you can be assured they&#039;ll have as many back up and running as they can, since the last thing they need are brownouts in Tokyo.]]></description>

I mean I understand that they want to be more cautious after what happened and I encourage them to raise their standards of security, but coal will kill a lot more people in Japan than Nuclear. They are replacing a low risk of a very visible disaster with a guaranteed disaster that&#039;s too boring to make the news.]]></description>
