The noise genre is not intended to sound as “awful” as possible; the artists are intentionally attempting to appeal to an audience which likes the specific sounds that are played at a specific rate. Among noise fans, there is clearly preference, so claims such as that and claims such as that it’s impossible to make a “bad” noise track by noise standards is absurd.
