Here’s some hints for you: It sounds like the し after the な (なし) was
covered, totally changing the meaning. Does that help? So, it’s 笑顔に敵なし all
together – does that help? ;)

「笑顔に敵な」？That is what it says on the little board behind Koichi. I would translate it as: “A threat to a smile.”or “An enemy to a smile” or “A threat to your smile” or “An enemy to your smile.” The な adds a bit of a “isn’t it?” to the sentence, although a little rough or masculine compare to ね. So maybe more like “huh?”.So is one of those right or am I off the mark? 笑顔 means “smile” or “smiling face”, and 敵 means “enemy” or “threat” and に is the target particle so I can’t be too far off.
