A lot of folks have been asking about TofuguTV, kindly mentioning that I was planning to put out the first episode in January. Although I have poor sense of time, I realize that it’s at least the beginning of February now, if not 1-35ish days later than that.
This is just a “hey, it exists” followed up by a “dang, editing video is hard!” Most of my time (sadly) has been spent working on parts of many different episodes, trying to figure out what to start with. I’m not 100% sure that Episode 1 will be about “Cat Island” (though it’s not the first place I went during the TofuguTV trip). Sex Robot Museum was going to be the first one, but that one requires so many black boxes moving around to cover various robot parts… so, I figured I’d save that one for later. It’s not as cute as an island full of cats, either.

So, anyways – no solid date on the first episode, but I also want it to be fun and entertaining to watch. Sometime in the next two weeks, optimistically? Anyhoo, should be fun.
Tofugu Stickers
Another thing that only kind of sort of existed! Thanks to the splendid people at StickerMule, I have 500 Tofugu stickers to give away. Expect a video (subscribe on YouTube!) to come out fairly soon telling you how you can get a crack at them.
New People
Although they’ve been around for a little while, hiding in the background, I recently hired a couple of people part time to help out with things. They’re mostly doing work on TextFugu, but you’ll see their influences pop up on Tofugu now and again.
Things I’m getting help with include: Article writing, research, A/B testing, design, TextFugu’s (upcoming) conversation section, and basically anything that will make it so I have more time to write and create original content.
More on these “new people” soon, I’m sure. Just know that they’re awesome, and will help to make things even better.
Deleted Post
Unfortunately, not everything is guns and roses (is that how this statement goes?). Before anyone starts asking, this post was removed in order to avoid a legal dispute. Even though legal disputes such as these often get thrown out pretty early, they still cost a lot of time, money, and aren’t fun for anyone. So, for the first time ever, a Tofugu post was removed due to avoid litigation. Huzzah!
