That's true! I happen to be Finnish, and the energy/enviroment tax here in Finland is very high. The price is about 1,2E – 1,3E (1,5-1,65$) per litre (1 gallon is 4,4 litres). …so…one gallon would be about 5,3 $ – 6,6 $. And those prices have been on the news now, because they are the lowest we have had for a loooong time!

Plus we have to pay environment tax for each car we have..each year. If the car is bigger (or old = produces a lot of toxins) you pay more. It's just such a shame that only Scandinavian people are doing this…we can't save the world alone.
