Tofugu’s ThankYou Postcard Contest Winners…Everybody wins!

I was dreading having to choose my “favorite” postcard shot from the ThankYou Postcard contest, but, somewhat luckily, we only got four submissions. Now, originally we said that only three could win, but since we got four, and since I’ve got a lot of extra postcards, I thought it would be nice to extend that to four, and reward everyone who actually sent us a submission. If there’s a bunch of people who are still interested in participating in this contest, I’ll think about doing a part two (only if there’s enough demand). If we did that, though, I think only one more person can win, so let me know if you’re interested.

So now, let’s get to our four winners! If you won, send me your address so I can send you your prize!

Now, Janene tried to make a bunch of submissions. Very tricky Janene. This was her official submission – note that that’s a toilet seat around her head. Hopefully you’re not trying to say that Tofugu’s heading towards the crapper! I kid – but we have to take a look at another one of her submissions. I gotta say, I like the second one better:

Sadly, this is what my desk usually looks like, though my copy of Juno is electronic. What’s that on the ipod? Looks almost like Sponge Bob. Did you know that I created Sponge Bob?

Anyways, you four, thank you for your submissions! I noticed that all three out of the four postcard designs were represented (Ghidora, Mothra, and King Kong), but no Gigan. What happened to Gigan? Guess he couldn’t find a good home. Too bad, I guess.

    Wow, all of them are very creative. I would have entered, but my postcard went to my parents place, and I have yet to go visit home from school since it has arrived.

    it kinda does explain things as a whole.. but moreso it doesnt specificly explain much >.<
    if you ever seen battle royal and its sequal… its sorta like that.. it related directly to the first one.. explains like .. the meaing behind things that happend loosely.. but in the end your still left with a “wtf” moment that is golden when watching this stuff

    to call it a sequel does it little justice in my eyes..i like to think of it as an extended cinematicly relevant transit to an inconclusive detour of identical nature…

    Eh?I’m not an English teacher….I think my English typing skills are horrible, and it doesn’t help that I constantly talk to foreigners. All I can really say to that is…I use spell check a LOT. haha.

    I didn’t really do much to mine except cut out the background (which is now easier in CS3). I just saw Koichi’s picture when he first posted the contest and just imitated his pose. And being that the background of my original picture wasn’t anything near interesting, I just cut it out and replaced it with a bunch of Godzillas. Believe it or not, I was going to make a Godzilla hang out of my nose, but the picture was already unattractive enough, haha.

    However, I did want to know how you didn’t have a glare on your glasses when you took the picture. (Assuming you used your isight camera to take that picture). If not, then nvm.
